My Opinion on Good Praptic of teaching Learning Mathematics

Children of various age levels of thinking according to age. Mathematics is a subject that can develop the ideal start to think of the children early, early-grade education (primary education), secondary education, further education and even in their study. This is given to learn and use the principles of mathematics in everyday life both in the calculation, processing problems, problem-solving in the life of the school environment or in the environment of the community. Can not be denied, if anyone will be proud to have the children's most smart mathematics or math does not always good value. So that parents or not shy to enter their children for extra lessons in the subjects of mathematics in the hope that their children get a good value.

The price obtained by their children in a matter of not enough that can not analyze or change the story's problems and to restore the language of mathematics to problems in the story or if you can not use mathematics in everyday life (Problem Solving).
Mathematics is a branch of the subject area and not only can measure or formula but include some competencies that make students understand and can understand basic concepts in mathematics.

Learning mathematics also requires language skills, to understand shoptalk or understand the logic, but also imagination and creativity. And if it is used in the school environment, that is between teachers and students will take a key example in daily living, and made interesting.
To help students understand and strengthen the ability to think mathematically in a school environment and community environment and daily life among the students develop a concept as basic in the development of skills and concepts of the invention of other, more complex. The ability of children must be evaluated and identified with the continued attention to the ability level of children.

Also in several other steps that must be considered in the learning of mathematics to students, among others:
  1. Its inspiration
Some of the children or students who do not like mathematics because it basically does not know. Not like reading or drawing, mathematical symbols, and others have no meaning. Demonstrating the importance of mathematics in everyday life or in the real world. Tell-discovery of important findings from the pyramid in Egypt, to Mars, which could not have achieved without Mathematica, and mathematics.

  2. Giving examples of real
Bring along children or students in real mathematics after school. Find something interesting for children and connect with the mathematics. For example, if they like basketball / football, during the match, Ask them how many points a team has less need to win the match. And how much they need to win the game until they can easily win the league for? If they want to help at home, they get the wood to be cut, or to check the cake.

  3. Step by Step
Success in mathematics, also in life is to share big projects in small projects easier. Demonstrating the benefits of a problem with them in the small stages make it easy.

  4. Encouragement of creativity
Children or students may feel "trapped" in a topic because they see only from one side. Perhaps they need to see from the other side different. Showing the beauty of different perspectives. Bantu they view the situation from the perspective of others. Provide training for Exploring different ways to solve the problem. Even something as simple as tidy room can have a different solution.

  5. Thinking positive.
Must be a negative statement such as, "math is hard" (even if you feel that hard). Explain that all people have the ability to do math and solve problems in mathematics is not different from the problem-solving other problems. Above all that, to give confidence to children. Teaches that there is always a solution to all problems. We will be better if we like what we do, and make children interested in mathematics.

  6. Asessemen giving reward and reflection of the learning process that has been done.
Students are in the stage of human development requires a recognition of self, reinforce and appreciate what they do. Action with teachers who provide asessemen and wages, so they feel happy and try to see what is given to their teachers. Process they will respond and take the initiative to create a creative learning process. This is an easy way for teachers to continue to go to the lesson material is quite difficult even for them to do so. But in the lead and chase away what they learned from the beginning until the end of the lesson material is more important. So that they can reveal what they learned today.

The Nature of School Mathematic and Student Learning

The kinds of education

1. Formal education
Formal education is education in the schools in general. Path of education have a clear ladder of education, from primary education, secondary education, to higher education.

2. Non-formal education
Non-formal education covers primary education, and further education.
Basic education includes basic education in literacy, functional literacy, literacy and the most advanced found in early education (early childhood), Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran (TPA), Seniors and Education. Illiteracy eradication (PBA) and a program package (equivalent to SD), package B (equivalent to B) is a basic education.
Education program includes advanced packet C (equivalent SLA), the course, vokasi education, skills training carried out another good
organizedand not organized.
Non-Formal Education to the Community Learning Center Activities (PKBM) as the base program that can be in the area at one or more of the small village / village. PKBM in general terms that apply are of a Community Learning Center (CLC) is a component part of the Community Center.

3. Informal education

Informal education is the path of education and family environment shaped learning activities independently.

The nature of student learning mathematics
1. need motivation to learn whatever
2. students are social beings
3. cooperation
4. context requires

The nature of school mathematics

1. Learn about the science of patterns and relationships
Mathematics in schools is to teach students about the patterns and relationships.
For example:
- the relationship between the number of odd cubes
- relations between relations with the function
- relationship between equality and porbabilitas

2. Knowledge used for problem solving

Mathematics in school is science that is used for problem solving is to solve the day-to-day problems that can be used with certain patterns.
phase-step problem solving:
- Recognize / identify issues
- Create a mathematical model
- Make a settlement

3. Mathematics as a research student
For example:
examine to find the root of

4. Mathematics is a tool to communicate
In fact, there is no math that can not be communicated

The Nature Of Mathematic

Thales a pioneer of mathematics and Greek philosophy revealed proposition, known as Thales theorems, namely: Circle divided by two lines through the center which is called the diameter, The amount of corners the same time the base triangle is the same major, Vertical corners made of two parallel lines are cut by a straight line intersect, the same magnitude, When a pair of sides, a pair of corner that is located on the side and a pair of corner that is located before the same side of the large, the second triangle is told the same uniform, Triangle with a base note and a particular angle can be used to measure the distance of boat.
Endemus notes that Thales is the 'change the form of a formal geometry that can be learned by all those' self-build because of the principles and conduct of the investigation theorem-theorem with sudat an intellectual perspective. Thales talk about line, circle and other forms of imagine how the (abstract). This means that the abstract of a straight line or circle in bulbous mental us.

Plato was a Greek philosopher and mathematician a very influential, the most important thing about Plato is the knowledge about the idea.

Phytagoras is a philosopher and a Greek mathematician known as "Mr. Numbers."
Phytagoras fuse is phytagoras theorems, which states that the hypotenuse of the triangle square carpenter's square is equal to the number of square of the carpenter's square.
he believes that everything in the world related to mathematics, and feel that everything can be predicted and measured in cycles Beritme. He believes the beauty of mathematics is all natural phenomena can be expressed in number comparison or number.
Before the year 530 Masehi, Phytagoras has been studying proposition in geometry and find a rational number.

Aristoteles is a philosopher of Greece who gave birth to the first logic of the book is named Organon.
Aristoteles logic is a system of deductive reasoning, which even to this day is still considered as the basis of each lesson on formal logic. In his research he uses scientific methods of observation, experimentation and inductive thinking.
Aristoteles logic based on the axiom and postulat.

Euclides is a mathematician from the Greek, it subjects the teacher is the largest along the centuries.
Of Euclid is a Alexanderia for it. Euclid geometry book publishing, entitled 'Element' book consisting of 13 titles that include axiomatic system.

David Hume was a philosopher-18 the century. He thought underlie its philosophy is based on the empiricism of the sensory experience of someone. He wrote many books and essays. The works produced little more inspiration from the thoughts of its predecessor, namely: Barcon, Locke, Berkeley.

René Descartes was a philosopher and mathematician from France. The paper is the most important is the Discourse De la method (1637) and meditationes De Priam philosophia (1641). Descartes is known as renatus cartesius. He is also known as modern philosophy inventors and 'father of modern mathematics'. Year 1617 he found analytical geometry. He is also the creator of the system of coordinates cartesius, which affect the development of modern calculus.

Immanuel Kant was a German. Works of Kant is the most important de Discussion Reinen Vernunft (1981). In this book, he limits human knowledge or in other words what the human mind.

Gottfried Libniz is a philosopher and mathematician from Germany. He developed several hypotenuse logic language which is the symbol in mathematics. as well as Russell and Frege the same follow the flow of logic. Berthrand Arthur William Russell, which was then known as the Russell batadox. Signifikasi baradox follow this, according to the classical view of logic, all statements will be followed by a contradiction. 1908 Russel learn logic 'as frege' initial ideas Russel maintain logic that states that the number can be defined as a group in groups and statements theoritik number.

Luitzen Egbertus Jan Brouwer is more often written with the abbreviation LEJ Brouwer was born in Overschie, Netherlands. Brower which the paper is the first four-dimensional rotation. Characteristics intuisionisme Brouwer
philosophy is the foundation of thought, where thinking is heavily influenced by the view of Kant and Schopenhauer. Brouwer
is a intuisionis the fruit is very bright thought it - after Riemann - contrib and provide for the development of mathematics from the intuition that will then trigger the mathematician perform verification by using intuition because they do not all mathematical problem can be solved via the formalise.

David Hilbert is the fuse theory invariant (1888), where he can prove theorems that famous base. Systematic invariant Hilbert can be briefly mentioned as follows. Suppose the form of x with rank n, to find the smallest number of invariant and covariance rational integral can be expressed as rational integral coefficients with the coefficient-of numerical complete set. Hilbert works of the other areas is the algebraic, functional analysis, integral equation, mathematical physics, and calculus variations.

Josep Wittgenstein Johann Ludwig was a philosopher born in Australia, which has a large contribution in the philosophy language, philosophy of mathematics, and logic. He argues that philosophy is actually the language problem. The paper was originally Tractatus-Logico-Philosophic.

My introduction to Dr. Marsigit

Sunday 14 March 2009, studying the English language change on Sunday 15 March 2009, because the lecturer have family matters, so the lecturer can't attend. On Sunday at 09.30 o'clock, I get message from my head of the class that the college was canceled because the lecturer would not teach us. Then, at 13.50 I get message from my friends that almost started studying. I prepare to depart immediately and go to the campus without take a bath.

I arrived at 14.05 o'clock on campus, and then I entered the room with stiff because I realized that I was too late. I with my friends take the seat immediately and site behind friends. They sit around lecturer. We have not had time to site down when the lecturer told us to sit behind him. I think that we will be punished, but we are not punished. We would be greeted with a special by the lecture, he even invites us to greet each.

After that, the lecturer speak again and introduce oneself. He is Dr. Marsigit, he lived in Jalan Kaliurang km 11, he completed S1 at University of Yogyakarta and graduating in 1982, next S2 in London England, and S3 in Gajah Mada University graduating in 2007. He is head faculty of mathematics education in University of Yogyakarta. He has a wife and t
wo children's.

Then introduce himself, he also revealed disappointment to us because of our mistake especially my head of class that we have wound him. Previously we have not met with him, so w presume he is a lecturer who does not discipline, but in fact one of us because he is one of the lecturers outside in University of Yogyakarta the most diligent and most discipline even more discipline from some lecturers PGRI University of Yogyakarta own. Despite the distance he was away from home campus, but he would like to each and to bring students UPY to be a superior man. Although the age of 51 years but he was the spirit not dull.
Addition, he also recount experiences that make me very stunned. He often visited foreign countries such as Australia, London, Japan, etc. Almost every year he went to Japan to represent Indonesia in the event a certain.

He also recounts him experience when he saw overseas conference, he was a representative from Indonesia to present and promote Indonesia.
He has not been recently contacted by the students of the University of California stating that they will conduct research in Indonesia and ask him to become a leader he is. With him leniency, he is willing even he also has prepared a residence for them.

Addition to recount his experiences, he also teaches us that we can appreciate the space and time. He also gave out the materials for the accomplishment of which we study reading, writing, listening, communication, and the grammar, vocabulary, etc. End hour college he gave the task to us so that we crate e-mail and blogger and then sign in as a follower him. We also are writing what we've heard during the lectures using the English Language. He also told us to visit the site of some of his blogger.

Dr Marsigit for me is the best lecturer.
